High-performing water-cooled charge air cooler

Nissens Cooling Solutions’ WCAC is a charge air cooler where the charge air is cooled by means of water/glycol coolant from the front-end module. The WCAC offers a fast engine response due to immediate cooling from the water/glycol and due to installation of the WCAC directly on the engine unit. In addition, the use of water as cooling medium provides a stabile charge air temperature, which improves the engine performance.

Nissens Cooling Solutions’ WCAC can be integrated into indirect cooling systems, where the usage of the cooling capacity in the front-end module can be optimized as it can be shared between the WCAC and other systems such as retarder systems.
